
Recruiting participants for a study on stress
Researchers from Texas Tech University and the University of Bordeaux are conducting a study to better understand how different experiences of stress affect psychological states. In Bordeaux, the project is led by Anna Beyeler‘s team (Inserm, Neurocentre Magendie).

S.E.R.E.N.A : Study of Sex Differences with EEG: Regulation, Emotion, & Neurophysiology of Attention
Who can participate ?
We are seeking men and women aged 18-65 living in the Bordeaux or Gironde area.
What does participation involve ?
Participants will complete questionnaires related to attention, memory, and emotional processing
Two EEG recordings
All procedures are non-invasive and conducted in a safe, confidential environment.
Important information
This is not a clinical study; data will not be used for diagnostic purposes
Participation is completely voluntary and confidential
You may withdraw at any time
The study has been approved by university ethics boards (CER-UB and IRB)

Compensation: Participants will receive 100 euros
Eligibility:
You may not qualify if you have:
– A history of neurological disorders
– An active substance use disorder
– Current psychotic symptoms or unmanaged bipolar disorder
– Current use of medications that significantly affect cognitive or attentional processing (unless stabilized for at least six months)
