Call for proposals – Innovative approaches to resolve the diagnostic impasse in rare diseases with developmental abnormalities
AnDDI-Rares and the Foundation For Rare Diseases (FFRD) have decided to jointly launch a call for proposals aimed at overcoming the diagnostic impasse in rare diseases with developmental abnormalities. This call for proposals is addressed to translational research teams in molecular biology, genomics and bioinformatics, including biologists, clinicians and data analysis experts. Its aim is to encourage the initiation of projects leading to significant advances in the diagnosis and understanding of the genetic basis of rare diseases with developmental abnormalities, with or without intellectual development disorders. Two types of projects are eligible for this call: biology research projects (wet lab projects) and bioinformatics research projects (dry lab projects).
