Pascal Fossat, winner of the France-Canada Research Fund (FFCR) 2025

In 2025, 16 new projects led by Franco-Canadian teams received seed funding of $15,000 each from the French Embassy in Canada.

This support will enable researchers from both countries to work hand in hand on joint projects and to intensify scientific mobility and collaboration between France and Canada.

Pascal Fossat (IMN, Bordeaux, France) and Mike Hildebrand (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) are among the winners. Together, they are studying spinal serotonin receptors as potential new therapeutic targets for pain!
