ENLIGHT pursues its ambitions

After a three-year pilot phase, the ENLIGHT European University alliance received the green light from the European Commission on Monday 3rd July to continue promoting quality of life, sustainability and citizen engagement at an international level via higher education transformation.

Now consisting of 10 universities from 10 European countries, ENLIGHT is pleased to welcome the University of Bern as its newest member. This collaboration strengthens the diversity and impact of the alliance, furthering its mission to develop a university of the future.

For its next phase, the alliance intends to allocate significant funding to academic initiatives, thus emphasising its commitment to supporting scholars. This includes the launch of bottom-up calls for interdisciplinary thematic networks and starter grants to promote the development of future-proof education.
