Postdoc Position in “Decision and Adaptation” group
The “Decision and Adaptation” group at the ”Institut de Neurosciences Cognitives et Intégratives d’Aquitaine” (Bordeaux Neurocampus, France) is seeking to recruit a postdoctoral researcher to join their group. The project entitled «Noradrenaline and prefrontal neural dynamics for monitoring behavioural flexibility” involves a tight collaboration with the labs of E Procyk (SBRI, Lyon), S. Bouret (ICM, Paris) and E. Kremer (IGMM, Montpellier). The project aims at understanding the rules of the locus coeruleus (LC)/noradrenergic (NA) drives on specific cortical dynamics when the subject is engaged in exploring or exploiting the environment. The work involves sophisticated behavioural paradigms in rats and advanced approaches for the investigation of neural circuits.
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience, psychology or a related field. Candidates should be highly self-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently and in collaboration. There is some flexibility in the starting date and the contract length is 2 years.
Applications will include a detailed CV with publications list, a brief statement of research experience and interests and at least two references and will be sent to:
