
1st France VolumeEM Scientific Conference – 28-29 September 2026
Registration is now open for the 1st France VolumeEM Scientific Conference, which will take place on September 28 and 29, 2026, et the Centre Broca Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Registration is free but mandatory on
https://frvem2026.sciencesconf.org.
As a bonus, you are invited to participate to workshops on the afternoon of the 29th. Registration is required as space is limited.

Isabelle Bonne (Director of EMU (NUS), NUS Microscopy Core, Singapore) will open the conference with a plenary lecture titled: “Volume EM Today: From Cells to Materials.”
Three thematic sessions will follow:
- Session 1 – 3D Structures across scaleswith Elsa Vennat (Paris-Saclay Mechanics Laboratory)
- Session 2 – Complementary Methods,Applications in Science and Industry with Timm Weitkamp (SOLEIL Synchrotron)
- Session 3 – Life in Context, a Three-Dimensional Storywith Karel Mocaer (EMBL)
Call for speakers and posters
We are therefore issuing a call for speakers to participate in these sessions.
Why submit?
These sessions are designed to foster scientific exchange and collaboration among participants. We therefore particularly encourage submissions presenting innovative results, ongoing projects, or original approaches, even if they are preliminary. You can submit your proposal on the Sciences Conf website during registration or at a later date, or via email.

If you do not wish to give an oral presentation but would still like to share your work, you can also submit a poster (Monday evening poster session).
Both oral presentations and posters will be entered into a contest with great prizes to be won.
