Post doc position – Body/brain relationship in drug addiction

Aims
The project (in collaboration with JR Cazalets, from Motopsyn team, is aimed to understand body/brain relationship in drug addiction. More precisely, the project will tackle the role that peripheral signals (temperature, heart beats, blood pressure, respiration..) produced by both cocaine and nicotine, might have on the propensity to relapse in drug addiction. The project will be conducted in rats and will implicate intra-venous drug self-administration paradigms combined with telemetric recordings of peripheral physiological signals.

Salary
it will depend on previous experience and university level of the candidate. The salary follows the salary grid of the university which can be provided to the candidate. National health insurance is provided.

Requirements
Animal experimentation and surgery training validated, mastering statistical analysis and behavioral analysis

Duration
1 year (possibly renewable for one year)
