Neurocampus Call for proposal – Symposiums & Conferences 2026

The Bordeaux Neurocampus Department supports the organization of symposiums and conferences for the benefit of our neuroscience community.

Category 1 is dedicated to scientific events within Bordeaux Neurocampus.

Category 2 is dedicated to networks, inter-department scientific events within the University of Bordeaux, and national scientific events.

Category 3 is dedicated to international scientific events.

In accordance with the University of Bordeaux’s policy of inclusive scientific excellence, applicants must provide a brief description of the diversity within the event. Diversity takes many forms, including gender, nationality, age, professional seniority, etc.

Eligibility criteria

  • Events must take place within the Bordeaux metropolitan area.
  • Events must occur in 2026.
  • Financial support will be transferred to a University of Bordeaux budget line upon submission of supporting documents/estimates.

 

CATEGORY 1: Events within Bordeaux Neurocampus CATEGORY 2: Networks,

inter-department and

national events

CATEGORY 3:

International events

– All organizers must be part of a research team within the Bordeaux Neurocampus Department.

 

– The events must be intended for a primarily scientific audience based in Bordeaux.

– At least one of the organizers must be part of a research team within the Bordeaux Neurocampus Department.

 

– The events must be intended for an open scientific audience.

 

– At least one-quarter of the speakers must be members of the Bordeaux Neurocampus Department.

– At least one of the organizers must be part of a research team within the Bordeaux Neurocampus Department.

 

– The events must be intended for an open scientific audience.

 

Evaluation criteria

  • Local, national, or international visibility.
  • Strengthening connections between researchers.
  • Development of structured projects, research themes, or promotion of the Bordeaux neuroscience community.

The financial support that can be provided is a maximum of 2,000 euros per event. The financial support that can be provided is a maximum of 1,000 euros per event. The financial support that can be provided is a maximum of 1,000 euros per day.

 

The number of projects selected and the allocated amounts will depend on the financial capacities of Bordeaux Neurocampus.

This support may exceptionally exceed this amount only in cases of co-funding by IdEx and/or the Region, with explicit budget justification.
