Recherche de cibles pour réguler le stress
Deux thèmes de recherche pour une équipe. L’addiction peut entrainer une vulnérabilité au stress et des troubles de mémoire. Ces anomalies peuvent persister même après le sevrage. Nous voulons comprendre quels sont les mécanismes du cerveau impliqués dans ces effets dus à la prise de drogues. Des acteurs endocriniens participeraient à ces effets, à nous de trouver les moyens de les stopper. Dans notre 2ème axe de recherche, où nous étudions chez la drosophile, une petite mouche dont les généticiens connaissent tous les secrets, les neuropeptides, les modulateurs des neurones et leur rôle dans le contrôle des comportements, tel que la sexualité.
