Post-doctoral position on the project « DISCONNECTOME »
A 2-year (renewable) post-doc position is available at BCBlab/GIN/CNRS in Bordeaux to work directly with Michel Thiebaut de Schotten on his ERC project ‘DISCONNECTOME’.
The aim of this position will be to develop, test and validate MRI techniques for quantifying the emergent properties of brain connections and cognition in humans.
The successful candidate will be part of an international multidisciplinary team developing and applying MRI techniques to study brain structure and function supporting normal higher cognitive function, as well as the study of cognitive dysfunction in various neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions.
The position will offer training opportunities in brain connectivity, massive data collection and predictive connectivity modeling.
The fellow will need to be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with responsibilities for supervising graduate student research. The Fellow will support MRI users and have the opportunity to develop new ideas and advance his/her own research interests in an international academic environment.
