SUMMARY:Transitions and Well-Being Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Venue: Centre Broca \n\nDamien Richard (INSEEC) \nEmilie Poli (INSEEC) \nOrganized by the IINS Transitions and Well-Being Committees \nOpen to all Neurocampus’ units staff \nTitle\nOn the road to Occupational Well-being with SLAC The Game\n\nAbstract\n\nAs part of the implementation of the University of Bordeaux’s Transition Charter\, this seminar will address a key issue: occupational well-being. \nUnderstanding occupational well-being requires integrating the real experiences and perceptions of employees rather than relying solely on existing models and tools. Innovative and engaging approaches\, such as gamification\, can play a key role in fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes well-being. \nThis session introduces an innovative and immersive approach with SLAC (Sens\, Lien\, Activité\, Confort) The Game\, a gamified tool designed to explore the key factors of occupational well-being and identify concrete action levers. \n\n

SUMMARY:Friday seminar - Philippe Séguéla
DESCRIPTION:Venue: Centre Broca \n\nPhilippe Séguéla \nDepartment of Neurology & Neurosurgery\nMontreal Neurological Institute-Hospital\nAlan Edwards Centre for Research on Pain\nMcGill University – Canada \nhttps://seguela-lab.org/ \nInvited by Eric Boué-Grabot (IMN) \nTitle\nIon channels in pain circuits: from DRG to ACC.\nSummary\nPr. Séguéla (McGill University) will present the properties of a first-in-class selective blocker of peripheral ASICs (acid-sensing ion channels) as a novel non-invasive therapeutic option for the treatment of inflammatory pain. Also\, investigating cellular and molecular mechanisms of the top-down regulation of pain in healthy and pathological chronic conditions\, he will show recent data on the key role of dopamine signaling in anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) circuits in controlling the perception of pain and analgesia.\n
