\"\"<\/a>Researchers from Texas Tech University and the University of Bordeaux are conducting a study to better understand how different experiences of stress affect psychological states<\/strong>. In Bordeaux, the project is led by Anna Beyeler<\/strong>‘s team (Inserm, Neurocentre Magendie).<\/p>\n

Project : S.E.R.E.N.A<\/strong>
\nS.E.R.E.N.A\u00a0: Study of Sex Differences with EEG: Regulation, Emotion, & Neurophysiology of Attention<\/p>\n

Who can participate ?<\/strong>
\nWe are seeking men and women aged 18-65 living in the Bordeaux or Gironde area.<\/p>\n

What does participation involve ?<\/strong>
\nParticipants will complete questionnaires related to attention, memory, and emotional processing
\nTwo EEG recordings
\nAll procedures are non-invasive and conducted in a safe, confidential environment.<\/p>\n

Important information<\/strong>
\nThis is not a clinical study; data will not be used for diagnostic purposes
\nParticipation is completely voluntary and confidential
\nYou may withdraw at any time
\nThe study has been approved by university ethics boards (CER-UB and IRB)
\nInformation on local support resources is available<\/p>\n

Compensation:<\/strong> Participants will receive 100 euros<\/p>\n

Eligibility:
\n<\/strong>You may not<\/strong> qualify if you have:
\n– A history of neurological disorders
\n– An active substance use disorder
\n– Current psychotic symptoms or unmanaged bipolar disorder
\n– Current use of medications that significantly affect cognitive or attentional processing (unless stabilized for at least six months)<\/p>\n
