Elle prouve que la gen\u00e8se des plasmodesmes, canaux nanoscopiques reliant les cellules et permettant l\u2019\u00e9change d\u2019information, d\u00e9pend du r\u00e9ticulum endoplasmique (RE). Lors de la division cellulaire il traverse la paroi en cours de constitution et emp\u00eache sa fermeture totale, donnant naissance \u00e0 ces nanocanaux. Emmanuelle Bayer revisite ensuite le contr\u00f4le de leur ouverture par les d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de callose. L\u00e0 encore le RE est instrumental ! Il cr\u00e9e avec la membrane plasmique, des zones de contact lipide-prot\u00e9ine dont la tension agit comme rh\u00e9ostat de l\u2019ouverture des plasmodesmes. Ces travaux \u00e9clairent notre connaissance de la dynamique des \u00e9changes intercellulaires, ouvrant les hypoth\u00e8ses sur leurs r\u00e9gulations.
