Seed funding should be used to develop or strengthen intra-Bordeaux Neurocampus collaborations with the prospect to build competitive consortiums.<\/p>\n<p>In line with the UB policy on inclusive scientific excellence, submitted proposal has to <strong>provide a brief diversity description of the consortium<\/strong>. <em>Note that diversity takes many forms in terms of gender, nationality, age, professional seniority, etc.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Participants must comply with one of two eligibility criteria, <strong>either a) OR b)<\/strong>:\n<ol>\n<li>The project should involve\u00a0<strong>at least 2 members of Bordeaux Neurocampus Department<\/strong> <strong>from different institutes: tenured researchers or tenured research engineers<\/strong> (in a research team or a facility). Partners from other departments can be added but cannot be funded by Bordeaux Neurocampus. The collaboration should be new: the partners have not published together in the last 3 years. If you are a tenured researcher who is currently an ERC\/Impulscience\/Chaire d\u2019excellence grant investigator, you are ineligible to apply for a Seed Project grant.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate is a\u00a0<strong>young tenure-track researcher (including IdEx\/Region chairs, ATIP-Avenir chairs, junior professors&#8217; chairs, pre-recruitment chairs) <\/strong>(PhD thesis defended less than 10 years ago, after 01\/01\/2016). ERC or JCJC grants are ineligible to apply for a Seed Project young grant investigator.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Only one application per person.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cSeed Projects 2025\u201d laureates are ineligible.<\/li>\n<li>The maximum amount of the project is <strong>15\u00a0000 \u20ac<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Bordeaux Neurocampus will allocate <strong>running costs credits <\/strong>to your UB budget lines.<\/li>\n<li>The allocated funds must be spent within 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Evaluation criteria<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Objectives and scientific hypotheses<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Significance:<\/strong>Does the project address an important problem or a critical barrier to progress in the field?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Complementarity:<\/strong> Do the investigators have complementarity and integrated expertise appropriate for the project?
