This image will be highlighted in the newsletter of the BIC, and its producer will be magnificently rewarded!<\/p>\n<p>This month\u2019s winner is Olivier Thoumine (IINS), with his image of a spheroid made of dissociated rat hippocampal cells observed after 14 days in suspension culture. A few neurons expressing the fluorescent protein td-Tomato (color coded in gold) have extended long neurites. The spheroid diameter is around 200 \u00b5m and has been imaged using the SP5 Confocal with the help of J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Teillon (BIC UAR 3420).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BIC is reviving an old tradition!
