Seed funding should be used to obtain preliminary results to develop or strengthen intra-Bordeaux Neurocampus collaborations with the prospect to build competitive consortiums.<\/p>\n<p>In line with the UB policy on inclusive scientific excellence, submitted proposal need to <strong>provide a brief diversity description of the consortium<\/strong>. <em>Note that diversity takes many forms in terms of gender, nationality, age, professional seniority, etc.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Participants must comply with one of two eligibility criteria, <strong>either a) OR b)<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong>a)<\/strong> The project should involve <strong>at least 2 members of Bordeaux Neurocampus Department<\/strong> <strong>from different institutes<\/strong> (at least two different institutes). Partners from other departments can be added but cannot be funded by Bordeaux Neurocampus. The collaboration should be new: <strong>the partners have not published together in the last 3 years<\/strong>. If you are a tenure researcher who is currently an ERC grant investigator, you are ineligible to apply for a Seed Project grant.<br \/>\n<strong>b)<\/strong> The candidate is a <strong>young tenure-track researcher (including IdEx\/Region chairs, junior professors&#8217; chairs, pre-recruitment chairs) <\/strong>(PhD thesis defended less than 10 years ago, after 01\/01\/2014). ERC or JCJC grants are ineligible to apply for a Seed Project young grant investigator.<\/li>\n<li>Only one application per person.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cSeed Projects 2023\u201d laureates are ineligible.<\/li>\n<li>The allocated funds must be spent within 2024.<\/li>\n<li>The maximum amount of the project is 44\u00a0000 \u20ac.<\/li>\n<li>The distribution of the funds\u00a0must be as follows:\n<ul>\n<li>24\u00a0000 \u20ac for\u00a0human resources<\/li>\n<li>20 000 \u20ac for running costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Evaluation criteria<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Objectives and scientific hypotheses<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Significance: <\/strong>Does the project address an important problem or a critical barrier to progress in the field?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Complementarity: <\/strong>Do the investigators have complementarity and integrated expertise appropriate for the project?
