Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a cerebral stimulation technique allowing the study of functional connectivity, chronometry and the effects of a virtual lesion in humans. We have equipped ourselves with the most effective non-invasive technique, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). Short rTMS pulses induce a transient disruption of neuronal activity in the target region, producing intracortical inhibition or facilitation.
