More than 500 researchers from 38 countries have therefore joined forces to study this phenomenon within the Global Consortium for Chemosensory Research (GCCR). French laboratories and organizations<sup><a id=\"\" class=\"see-footnote footnoteref1_lhxq0os smoothScroll\" title=\"including Centre de recherche en neurosciences de Lyon (CNRS\/Inserm\/Universit\u00e9 Claude Bernard\/Universit\u00e9 Jean Monnet), the Institut de chimie de Nice (CNRS\/Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur), Centre des sciences du go\u00fbt et de l'alimentation (CNRS\/Inrae\/Universit\u00e9 de Bourgogne\/Agrosup Dijon) et le laboratoire Anthropologie mol\u00e9culaire et imagerie de synth\u00e8se (CNRS\/Universit\u00e9 Toulouse III \u2013 Paul Sabatier). \" href=\"http:\/\/www.cnrs.fr\/en\/covid-19-launch-international-survey-loss-smell-and-taste#footnoteref1_lhxq0os\">1<\/a><\/sup> invested in the GCCR will have their efforts coordinated by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Golebiowski, a <\/span>Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur <span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">professor at the Nice Institute of Chemistry (CNRS\/Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur) and director of the CNRS \u2018<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Odorant-Odeur-Olfaction\u2019 <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">research group. Today the consortium is launching a major international survey in the form of a short questionnaire (available in more than 20 languages) <strong>aimed at current or recovered Covid-19 patients<\/strong>.
