Focus on Brain Energy Metabolism","description":"<p><strong>Venue: Domaine du Haut-Carr\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Organised by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anne-Karine Bouzier-Sore (CRMSB, d\u00e9partement STS)<\/li>\n<li>Aude Panatier (Neurocentre Magendie)<\/li>\n<li>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Roumes Rodriguez (CRMSB, d\u00e9partement STS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About the symposium<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Day 1<\/strong> will focus on <strong>fundamental researc <\/strong>, presenting the latest findings on <strong>metabolic interactions between different brain cell types<\/strong>, with particular attention to <strong>lactate exchanges<\/strong> \u2013 not only the <strong>astrocyte-neuron lactate shuttle<\/strong>, but also metabolic exchanges<strong> with microglia and oligodendrocytes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day 2<\/strong> will be dedicated to <strong>translational researc <\/strong>, addressing the <strong>consequences of energy metabolism dysregulation in brain disorders<\/strong>, with a focus on <strong>preclinical and clinical research<\/strong> and <strong>roundtable discussions<\/strong> between scientists and clinicians.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A strong emphasis will be placed on <strong>young researchers<\/strong>, with multiple opportunities for oral and poster presentations. <strong>Prizes <\/strong>will be awarded for the best contributions !<\/p>\n<p>The event will take place in a <strong>friendly and welcoming atmosphere<\/strong>, including a <strong>wine &amp;
