++ The Cortical Plasticity group is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant (French grade: Ingenieur d’Etude).
++ We are interested in the function of neocortical circuits and their pathophysiological modification in autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
++ The project is fully funded for up to four years.
++ We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team player with experience in the culture of human derived neurons from iPSCs and CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing. Experience in animal experimentation, in particular behavioral tasks, would be a plus. The appointee must have a Masters level degree or equivalent. The candidate should also have a good level of proficiency in English.
++ The team is a member of the Bordeaux Neurocampus — a center of excellence for neuroscience research in France.
