 My research interests focus on the functions and effects of a singular multifaceted metalloproteinase, ADAMTS-4,
during CNS pathologies. I have pioneered in unraveling ADAMTS-4 contributions to mechanisms mediating neuroplasticity, neuroinflammation or neurodegeneration during 3 devastating pathologies: spinal cord injury, ischemic stroke and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis respectively.
