Premier Meeting Européen de la Synapse

Abstract :

The first European Synapse Meeting is organized by members of the three EC-funded research programmes on synapses: EUSYNAPSE, GRIPPANT and SYNSCAFF. The aim of this initiative is to bring together junior and senior neuroscientists working on synapses and to provide a forum for new directions and ideas in synapse research. The ambition for this is to become a biannual event, which serves to create a European research community with an active role in promoting synaptic research and its funding within the EU.
Although organized by members of these consortia, the meeting welcomes participation from all neuroscientists within and outside the EU. The meeting will combine research lectures by leading neuroscientists from Europe and the US with poster sessions intended to encourage lively discussions and the free exchange of information and ideas.
The conference will be held at Domaine du Haut-Carré, located in Talence, in the close neighbourhood of Bordeaux. It is easily accessible by tramway (line B direction Pessac) from the center of Bordeaux. Stop at the station "FORUM".
