Abstract :


I
will discuss recent developments in the area of brain relaxin systems. This will include a brief review of the discovery and evolutionary aspects of new relaxin peptides, the identification of former-orphan receptors as relaxin family receptors and details of our anatomical and initial functional and regulatory studies, examining the comparative distribution and role of these peptide-receptor systems in mammalian brain.
