Le BIC prend une dimension européenne!

Les visiteurs extérieurs internationaux peuvent bénéficier d'un soutien financier pour l’accès au BIC

Le 8 février 2016

  • The Bordeaux Imaging Center (BIC) is part of the France BioImaging (FBI), a National Research Infrastructure for Biological Imaging. http://www.bic.u-bordeaux.fr/

  • FBI is a National Research Infrastructure for Biological Imaging. This unique coordinated infrastructure gathers several large biological imaging facilities and laboratories specializing in R&D in 5 different sites. (http://france-bioimaging.org/)

On Feb. 3th 2016, France-BioImaging has been ratified by the EuBI Interim Board as a First Generation Euro- BioImaging participant.

Euro-BioImaging (EuBI) is a pan-European research infrastructure for imaging technologies. It will provide open physical user access to a broad range of state‐of‐the‐art biological and medical imaging technologies for life scientists in Europe and beyond. 28 imaging facilities located in 10 European countries will offer the access to a portfolio of 36 different state-of-the-art technologies in the fields of biological and medical imaging. Through its Web Access Portal, the EuBI Hub (coordinated by EMBL) will act as the central entry point for researchers accessing EuBI services.

The BIC belonging to the FBI is thus part of the EuBI infrastructure! On this occasion, FBI opens a call for sponsored use of its infrastructures for external members. It’s the opportunity to attract your foreign collaborators! Visitors can benefit from a sponsored access and financial support to come and use FBI infrastructures and the BIC.
