Euskampus Meeting 2016

Mise en place du meeting et recrutement

Xavier Leinekugel Neurocentre Magendie (NCM) INSERM U862, Université de Bordeaux .

I am contacting you regarding the Euskampus meeting to come soon and to be held in Donostia/San Sebastian.

It has been proposed to organize a Neuroscience meeting session "Combining theoretical, experimental and computational approaches to understand brain function".

This session is planned to be 0.5 to 1 day duration with up to 20 participants (half from Bordeaux and half from UPV/EHU/DIPC/Tecnalia).

The idea is to have speakers (both researchers and teaching professors) in both the fields of experimental and computational Neuroscience, in order to illustrate the interest to combine these fields in both research projects and university teaching programs. I would therefore be grateful if as teachers/researchers from experimental and/or computational laboratories/departments, you would be interested to participate, that is either to just attend or to give a presentation.

The idea is to promote and discuss opportunities for joint training programs, research or training mobility programs and research collaborations between the Spanish and French sides of Euskampus.

Regarding the dates, unfortunately Nov 26-27th will not allow any member of Neurocentre Magendie to attend to the general Euskampus meeting. But as last year, we are allowed some flexibility and have the possibility to organize the Neuroscience meeting at some other date.

Do you think you might be interested to participate if we would organize this meeting in Donostia the 2nd or 3rd week of Dec (1 day in the period 7-18/12/15), or possibly early 2016?

I thank you in advance for your feedback.
Best regards,
Xavier Leinekugel
